The Overhead view provides a top-down perspective of the quay by displaying the vessel widths, lengths, and distance to dock as shown in the following figure.
The common physical dimension in this view is vessel length, which is the horizontal axis of the Berth Scheduler window, so the vessel length and bollard locations line up. The vertical axes differ between the views: the Overhead view shows vessel width and the Berth Scheduler grid shows the time of the vessel visit.
You can use the Overhead view to do the following:
Add time animation by dragging the time marker in the time line of the Berth Scheduler grid.
Set the vessel's distance-to-dock by dragging a vessel visit. This is helpful when you need to adjust rafted positions, for example when loading and unloading to and from barges and feeder vessels.
